Spikes Asia Comes To Pakistan
Pakistan Advertisers Society (PAS) will be organizing Spikes Asia for the first time in Pakistan. There are a few competitions that PAS is contemplating to arrange, which will either be single or multiple contests (watch this space for more news).
While the Canne’s Young Marketers Competition was aimed at companies, Spikes Asia’s competition will be aimed at young individuals from agencies. The Young Spikes Competitions are exciting challenges that takes place during the Spikes Asia Festival during 25-27 September 2019 at Suntec, Singapore, giving participants the chance to gain recognition within the industry and make their mark across Asia Pacific.
Teams of two from various agencies such as creative, digital and the like across Pakistan will get the opportunity to register themselves through PAS’s website to either compete in the integrated or digital competition. The registered teams will be called for a briefing and will be given one entire day (24 hours) to come up with a campaign in response to the set brief. The brief set by a charity or non-profit organization will be kept secret until the competition briefing session. Five teams will be shortlisted, chosen by judges, who will get a chance to present and respond to a Q&A session. Winners of the competition will be sent to Singapore with all-expense paid by PAS and Challenge Sponsors, to represent Pakistan and compete at the Spikes Asia festival 2019. The first and second runner up teams will also be allowed to participate in the festival if they and/or their respective agency manage the cost.
The Young Spikes Competition in Pakistan will take place sometime in August. Dates will be revealed closer to the event. Keep an eye out by following the official PAS channels of communication.
