Ahmed Foods – Zaiqay Ki Zubaan
In Pakistan, the advertising landscape has become so saturated that every brand is using the same concept that sometimes it becomes difficult to understand and differentiate the message behind it. However, there are some brands that come up with concepts that are a breath of fresh air. Ahmed foods recently launched an ad that connected with the masses on an emotional level. Although the story does not give you “never seen before” feeling, it does make you praise the smart play of emotion. The ad focused on the relationship of neighbours, on making judgements too quickly and on first impressions. The one thing that works for the brand is that it does not show a family breaking into a dance wearing heavy jewels because the masala made the biryani mouthwatering.
