PAS Simorgh Award 2023
Over the last fifteen years, the Pakistan Advertisers Society has celebrated the marketing efforts of brands and agencies and rewarded the hard work of the teams who through their brilliant ideas and novel strategies push our industry forward. This year, PAS launched its new initiative to laud and celebrate the efforts of young marketers and advertising professionals aged 30 or under who have raised the bar with their resilient attitude and inspired their peers to follow the path of passion and excellence.
Pakistan Advertisers Society launched the Simorgh Award in August 2023 and a total of 18 submissions were received from brands and agencies like L’Oreal Pakistan, Philip Morris International, Unilever Pakistan, Bank Alfalah, Asian Consumer (Dabur), EBM, Symmetry Group, Digitz Digitas, Synite Digital, and Adcom.
The jury for the Simorgh Award took place on the 15th of September 2023 and the jury panel consisted of top-tier industry professionals and veterans. Former State Minister and Chairman of PAS, Tariq Ikram, Managing Director-Mindshare, Amna Khatib-Paracha, Chief Executive Officer- Green Man’s Ark, Adnan Syed, Former Chief Commercial Officer- National Foods, Aejaz Basrai, and General Manager-Upfield, Fariyha Subhani added a lot of value and depth to the whole process.
After reviewing all the forms thoroughly and with careful deliberation, the jury picked one winner, Zoha Akhtar, Assistant Brand Manager-Unilever Pakistan. Zoha Akhtar, at such a tender age, has achieved many accolades for her contribution to her organization. With her consistent efforts and exemplary attitude, she is on her way to becoming one of the future leaders of our industry.
