YouTube: The Missing Person Pre-Roll
In a World First Pre-Roll campaign on YouTube for the Australian Federal Police, VML have launched ‘The Missing Persons Pre-Roll’ during Missing Persons Week, aiming to amplify the search to gain new information and leads on over 1,600 long term missing persons in Australia.
The Missing Persons Pre-Roll was geo-targeted to focus on the locations that each missing person was last seen, and the standard YouTube ‘Skip’ button was re-skinned to say ‘Yes, I have’ or No, I haven’t’ with the pre-roll dramatically asking 1.2 million location specific YouTube viewers across Australia if they had seen this person… With each ‘Yes, I have’ allowing a users to input new information about a missing person… Created by VML Australia.
