PYLC Winners x Cannes Lions
From local brilliance to global recognition, the winning team of this year’s Pakistan Young Lions Competition earned a coveted shortlist at Cannes Lions, joining the ranks of the most celebrated young creatives worldwide.
Organized by PAS and in association with PSO, Jang Media Group & Cannes Lions, Pakistan Young Lions Competition took place in February. Bringing the industry’s brightest minds together, 38 teams competed against one another to provide a holistic solution for the challenge presented. Muhammad Ibrahim and Pazirish Mirza emerged victorious solidifying their spot at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
Held annually at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France, the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is considered the most prestigious stage for advertising and communication. It brings together creatives and marketers from around the world to recognise work that pushes boundaries celebrating ideas that are not just creative, but effective and impactful.
This year, among a global lineup of rising talent, Pakistan’s own Pazirish Mirza and Muhammad Ibrahim stood out. Representing the country in the Young Lions competition, they brought clarity, originality and heart to the brief. Their campaign was shortlisted, placing them in the company of some of the most compelling creative work from across the world.
