Pantene Introduces Priyanka Chopra as Newest Global Ambassador
Actress, film producer and philanthropist, Priyanka Chopra, joins an esteemed roster of strong women around the globe as Pantene’s newest Global Brand Ambassador. Pantene stands for ‘Strong is Beautiful’ and Chopra embodies this by inspiring women across the globe with her inner strength and beauty. Chopra will be the face of Pantene’s new campaign celebrating the Brand’s biggest shampoo breakthrough in 30 years: Pantene Pro-V’s new Shampoo formulas that go beyond washing to fuel hair from within. Pantene’s new shampoos fuel hair with the nutrients it needs to be strong from the core to endure the stressors it faces day in and day out.
“We are proud of our newest campaign, which highlights our biggest innovation in decades and thrilled to have Priyanka represent it,” says Jodi Allen, Vice President of Hair Care for North America at Procter & Gamble. “Her strength and confidence embody what the Brand stands for and we believe she will continue to inspire women around the world to embrace their strength and wear their confidence proudly.”
Pantene continues to celebrate strong women who are pushing the boundaries and owning it.
“I’m excited to come on board as the new Global Ambassador for Pantene. A favorite around the world, I love that Pantene celebrates and advocates that being strong is beautiful,” said Chopra. “I believe in celebrating the inherent strength that every woman possesses, which made the decision to align with Pantene an easy one. We BOTH believe that strong is beautiful and that every woman deserves glorious moments to pursue her dreams and to shine!”
Chopra will appear in the Brand’s marketing campaign, including TV and digital advertising, public relations and social media. She will appear in a Pantene ensemble TV spot that will debut on December 26, 2016 in the US as well as her own television ad campaign, which will begin airing in January 2017.
