Pakistan Advertisers Society organized the second edition of the Pakistan Young Lions Competition
Team IMF from Adcom, Ezza Syed and Raaj Kheraj won the Pakistan Young Lions Digital Competition 2023.
Team IMF, Ezza Syed and Raaj Kheraj won first-ever Silver for Pakistan at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
Team Snacc from CBL, Abdullah Rasheed and Zarah Irfan won the Pakistan Young Lions Marketer Competition 2023.
Pakistan Advertisers Society in collaboration with Jang Media Group organized the second edition of the Pakistan Young Lions Competition 2023 in Karachi. The competition was held over two days, offering an opportunity for young brand disruptors aged 30 and under to unleash their creativity and disruptive thinking. Twenty-seven teams of marketers from all over Pakistan competed against their peers in Young Marketer Competition, coming up with a holistic solution to solve the challenge set by The Citizens Foundation. Eleven teams took the stage for Young Digital Competition and presented creative ideas to solve the challenge set by our competition partner for the PYLC competition Walee Technologies.
Our esteemed panel of jurors which included Amna Khatib, Managing Director- Mindshare Pakistan, Umair Saeed, Chief Operating Officer-Blitz Advertising, Ali Rashid Khan, Director Marketing Condiments at National Foods, Adeel Rasheed, Co-Founder – SnappRetail, Asna Rizvi, Vice President Marketing-Walee Technologies, Khurram Koraishy, Mahrukh Shaikh, Content of Head-Symmetry Group – Walee Technologies, Javeria Siddiqui, Marketing Lead-Mondelez Pakistan, Asfandyar Inayat, General Manager-The Citizens Foundation, Farhan Khan, Chief Executive Officer- Brainchild Communications Pakistan, Syed Waqas Azhar, Marketing Director-FoodPanda, and Quratulain Rashid, Influencer Performance Lead-Walee Technologies picked two winners for both competitions after hours of deliberation and thorough perusal of each presentation.
Zarah Irfan and Abdullah Rasheed of Team Snacc from Continental Biscuits Limited won the Pakistan Young Marketers Competition and Team IMF from Adcom Leo Burnett, Ezza Syed, and Raaj Hussain Kheraj won the Pakistan Young Digital Competition paving their way to the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity to compete globally and represent Pakistan.

Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity was held in June 2023 and Team IMF, Ezza Syed and Raaj Hussain Kheraj won the first-ever silver at the Young Lions Digital Competition making it a first at the competition for Pakistan. Through their creative idea and brilliant execution of their concept “MaAI”, they were able to deliver and impress jurors with their talent blazing the path of success for young professionals in our industry and portraying the soft image of Pakistan at an international stage.
