Coke and TCF Initiated #CokeBankABook for International Literacy Day 2015
Coca-Cola Pakistan in partnership with The Citizen’s Foundation invited the country to donate a book to #CokeBankaBook on International Literacy Day, September 08, 2015 in Karachi. The #CokeBankaBook initiative is the first of its kind in Pakistan, where Coca-Cola is asking the nation to help the less privileged by giving away their text books, which will be given to our partner The Citizens Foundation. A Coca-Cola mobile book bank travelled the streets of Karachi collecting books at various spots.
The #CokeBankaBook activity was launched in 2015 at the Karachi Literature Festival, where the attending public had the chance to buy new books as well as donate their old books to a book bank. More than 2000 books were collected through this initiative.
Also, if you are willing to donate books to the Coca-Cola Book Bank then you can fill this registration form and their team will get in touch with you.
Many twitterati and social media activists also actively participated in this initiative.
