The Marketers Competition rewards the best young client in Pakistan. It is the ultimate test of teamwork and thinking under pressure. It’s also an excellent opportunity to raise your profile among industry leaders and demonstrate your abilities on Pakistan scale.

This is a chance to go head-to-head against fellow brand marketers.

Prior to the winner being announced live at the event, this will be evaluated by a panel of industry professionals

The winning team will be sent, all expenses paid, to represent Pakistan in 2023 global competition at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

How does it work?

Team of two have 24 hours to create a creative brief after receiving a briefing from a charity or NGO. It must perfectly capture information about the product or service, the client organization and its goals, and the campaign’s specific goals – the kind that will clearly act as a creative springboard for an agency.

Who is it for?

  • YLMC nominees must be Pakistani citizens, and consist of two young professionals age 30 or under (prior 21st June 1993), working internally for a single company client side not an agency:
    • Marketing managers
    • Brand managers/Category/product managers/Client services managers/Channel marketing managers
  • hold a valid passport at least 6 months of expiry without any restriction on travel.
  • have a good understanding of spoken and written English.
