JOVAGO Launches First Online Hotel Rental Platform in Pakistan
Jovago.com offers over hundreds of hotels around Pakistan for business and leisure customers to book online and offer ‘Best Price Guarantee’ operation for the first time.
Rocket Internet AG, under its holding firm the Asia Pacific Internet Group, has announced the official launch of its hotel-booking platform, Jovago, in Pakistan. In a ceremony held at Mövenpick, Karachi, Jovago launched its online hotel booking service portal for the domestic travellers of Pakistan, thus revealing a wide variety of options to choose from while travelling.
The event also marked the launch of first ever ‘Best Price Guarantee’ which provides best price guarantee for more than 1,600 hotels in the country – the largest inventory of its kind in Pakistan. Travellers can take advantage of Jovago’s Best Price Guarantee immediately from the time of booking to up to 72 hours prior to check in.
Jovago, operational in Pakistan since May 2014, aims to expand the tourism industry in Pakistan by catering to an existing gap whereby there is no single platform for consumers to browse and compare hotels across the country. The platform, accessible at www.jovago.com , already has an inventory of over 1600 hotels in more than 150 cities, with several hundred more expected online very soon. Jovago offers zero booking fees, and customers have the flexibility to pay at the hotel itself once they check in.
Speaking on the occasion, Paul Midy, CEO Jovago said “We are extremely excited to launch this portal in Pakistan and see a great potential in vacationers and business travellers that seek convenience and cost efficiency in the nick of time. Jovago offers an extensive portfolio comprising of the most suitable options that our customers can choose from.” He further added, “for the first time in Pakistan, an online booking company is going to guarantee the cheapest hotel prices for all 1600 properties on the continent and a refund of the difference if customers find cheaper prices elsewhere on the internet” said Paul Midy, CEO of Jovago.
Also, speaking on the occasion, Nadine Malik, Managing Director Jovago Pakistan remarked “Our mission is to open up every piece of bookable accommodation, to all Pakistanis by bringing them online. We aim to provide the ideal accommodation for every kind of traveller at the best prices and provide them with a fast, reliable and easy to use service to book the perfect accommodation from the comfort of their own homes. Further commenting on ‘Best Price Guarantee’ offer, Ms. Nadine went on to say that the “Best Price Guarantee gives to all of Pakistan’s guests peace of mind, allowing them to plan ahead, book early and get the hotel that they want without worrying that a better deal will come along after they’ve committed.”
When guests who booked with Jovago find a lower price advertised by other online booking services or hotels after their booking, they simply need to contact our 24/7 Customer Care who will process their request for a refund. The difference in pricing will be provided in the form of cash back if the booking was made in advance, or we will match the price if the payment is due on arrival.
Ensuring a visually appealing and user friendly website for easy access for customers, Jovago has collaborated with renowned hotel brands to offer special deals and promotions offered on a daily basis across Pakistan. Meanwhile, the entity has ensured customer support through a 12 hour customer service to book complete travel packages thereby facilitating the end consumer by providing an option of pre and post payment of hotel booking.
Jovago offers thousands of hotels through its online portal across South Asia and Africa and is now the largest online hotel booking portal in Pakistan. Catering to business and pleasure travellers alike, it enables a hassle free procedure that ensures bookings making them a click away; through its mission of making bookable accommodations accessible in the operational regions, Jovago is aiming high, eventually benefitting customers through the use of internet.
